3nd Annual Beemers Under The Redwoods
Vintage Campout
The Beemers Under The Redwoods, 3nd edition campout is on!
This year, due to some familial duties, the campout is a week later than usual, September 15th. We will again be meeting at a great location, close enough to ride your old
bike to, and lots of great local roads to ride your old bike
around on! Beautiful scenery, fun roads, great food and drinks,
and a campfire for great camaraderie — what more could you ask for?
What: Camping under the
redwoods. A big fire ring. A BBQ dinner and breakfast. Great local roads
to ride. Nearby views of Monterey Bay and the Santa Cruz Mountains.
When: Arrive Saturday,
September 15th after 1pm, depart Sunday before 1pm.
Where: Mt.
Madonna County Park, Manzanita Group Campground. This is located on top of
Hecker Pass, along CA-152 between Gilroy and Watsonville. See the maps below.
How Much: $30 for each rider, $15 for
each pillion.
This includes camping, dinner and breakfast. The park ranger will charge
you an additional $15 when you enter for each extra vehicle
(motorcycle,
auto/truck,
or trailer)
you bring.
To make your reservation, fill out
the form below and send a check for $30 to:

me, you can click on the webmaster link at the bottom of the page or my home

will offer a choice of chicken, tri tip, or a veggie entree. Water and drinks
will be available.
What Else: If
you want to camp Friday or Sunday (or both), you can make
reservations for
one of the individual campsites at the park. If you'd like to attend, but
your back can't take camping any more, there are plenty of motels in Watsonville and Gilroy, both about 10 miles away.
BMW
of Santa Cruz County is down highway 152 in Watsonville, no more
than a 10 minute drive, should some emergency repair be required.
Ted Porter's BeemerShop is in Scotts Valley is about 30 minutes away.

sure to send
your check by September 8th. Thanks!
You can see who
is coming on the big list.
